Older Still lifes.

All the still lifes that we were shooting inspired me to go back into my files and find some of my older ones.

Sooome more recent work.

I thought I would try my hand at some portraits that really incorporated the background. I think I'll retake this with someone else as the model because that would give me much more of a chance to mess around with the zoom, focus, and lighting a lot more.
I've recently discovered the mirror tool in Adobe Elements and have spent a ton of time with it.
Layered pictures, I really like the way this turned out.

I was trying different views for portraits and something about fingers have always struck me.

This a two piece series I decided, (Both the picture above and below.) I layered two picture for each pictures for each of them but I think the represent being open and closed.

Some good examples of still life:
I really liked the colors and the focus. It just seems so cute overall.
The water did really cool things to this and the quality of the image that makes it seem so old really changes my perspective on it.
The two objects kind of flow together but they are unusual to go together but I like it. I feel like it’s almost like a vintage-y retro feel.
Oh and while I searching on Flickr, I found this and reminded me so much of the cubism projects that level 2 were doing. http://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisphelps/441140277/
Some cool examples of environmental portraits:
I just feel like this picture speaks volumes about poverty, and children.
I love how you can feel the person through their environment.
Some good examples of out of focus shots:
I loved, loved, loved the idea of this.
